studioIMP is Ben Ludgate a Liverpool based Composer / Engineer / Producer & generally creative person.
His love for music started at very young age and has grown more more over the years, with this his musicianship
has also grown, from his roots playing piano and guitar to dabbling with kazoo, melodica, accordion and ukulele.

Ben has worked with other audio production companies including The Vocal Booth and Binarycell.
While working with these companies he took up various roles including;
Boom Operator, Sound designer, Sound mixing, Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Tape Opertor.
He has worked on a number of projects including; '15 Minutes that shook the World',
and with clients such as The Salford Big Band, The Liverpool Philharmic and Liverpool Football Club.

Ben has a National Diploma and Foundation Degree in Music & Audio Production from
Liverpool Communuity Collage and Liverpool John Moores University.
